Shayne Hutchins BPE, RMT, DOMP (Thesis Candidate)

Shayne graduated with his Bachelor of Physical Education from the University of Calgary. He went on to attend the Foothills College of Massage Therapy. He also attended the five year College d’Études Ostéopathiques (CEO) program in Vancouver and his Comprehensive Orthopaedic Assessment Diploma from the Canadian Institute of Manual Therapy. Shayne was an Integrated Support Team (IST) member for the Canadian national speed skating team from 1995 to 2010. He was a Canadian medical team member for the 2006 Turin and 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympic Games.  After 2010, Shayne became an IST member for the Canadian cross-country ski team and was the Medical Coordinator for Cross Country Canada during the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympic Games. Shayne’s expertise includes Massage Therapy, Osteopathy and he’s a facilitator for the Advanced Coaching Diploma; Injury Prevention and Risk Management. Shayne is a native Calgarian and father of two children. His hobbies include cycling, cross country skiing, swimming, backpacking.
