Physiotherapist

Amy Bauerle has been a practicing physiotherapist since 2005, with extensive experience in private-practice clinics in both Ontario and Alberta. She holds a Master of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Toronto (2005) and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo (2003). Amy is a certified Sport Physiotherapist and has pursued advanced training in orthopedic manual therapy and dry needling.

Her passion for physiotherapy was sparked during her time as a high-performance athlete, competing nationally in figure skating and internationally in synchronized skating.
These experiences gave her a deep appreciation for the role of physiotherapy in optimizing performance; it allowed her to remain as active as possible in her training and activities, but also stressed full, proper recovery from injury. Amy strives for this balance with her clients.

Since 2014, Amy has worked with several national sport organizations, including Alpine Canada, Freestyle Canada, Hockey Canada, Skate Canada, Snowboard Canada and Speed Skating Canada. These roles have taken her to 13 countries and provided the privilege of supporting elite athletes on the international stage.

Outside of her professional role, Amy is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys spending time in the mountains. She is an avid golfer and also enjoys biking, hiking and exploring new destinations through travel. Amy values quality time spent with family and friends and makes this a priority whenever possible.
