FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
October 1st, 2025
CALGARY— The Canadian Sport Institute Alberta (CSI Alberta) is proud to announce its new community partnership with Fenyk Coffee, a locally-owned roastery and café that has been serving Calgarians with sustainably sourced, small-batch coffee and a welcoming community space since 2024.
As a Community Partner with CSI Alberta, registered athletes can receive an exclusive discount on Fenyk Coffee products. Beyond the beans, Fenyk Coffee offers a spacious and inviting café designed for connection — whether that’s meeting with teammates, enjoying a quiet moment of reflection, or gathering with friends and family after training.
“Partnering with CSI Alberta is a natural fit for us” said Pardeep Sooch, Owner and Founder at Fenyk Coffee & Social. “At Fenyk, we’re passionate about providing quality food and drinks in a welcoming space where athletes and the community can relax, connect, and feel at home. Supporting these athletes is about more than just coffee, it’s about creating a place where everyone belongs.”
“Athletes thrive on balance, they need both fuel for performance and space for connection,” said Gary Davies, CEO, CSI Alberta. “Fenyk Coffee provides both: exceptional products and an environment where athletes can build relationships and take time for themselves. This partnership strengthens our commitment to the holistic well-being of athletes.”

About Fenyk Coffee
At Fenyk, we believe that the beauty of life doesn’t necessarily rest in the ‘pursuit of happiness’, but in the ‘pursuit of experience,’ and sharing these experiences with our community. Our goal at Fenyk rests in creating an atmosphere that serves as an extension of your community, where you can experience good coffee and good people. The Fennec Fox was selected as our mascot due to its reputation as a loyal and community-oriented animal. Fennec Foxes typically live in family groups, digging interconnected dens and forming networks with other groups. As we expand our presence with more stores, our aspiration is for our brand to be synonymous with community, offering patrons a familiar gathering spot to connect with others.
