Lisa completed a Bachelor of Science in physical therapy and in kinesiology with honors at the University of Saskatchewan. Lisa has also acquired advanced designations in the areas of biomechanics, manual and manipulative therapy, radiology and needling.
Lisa was the head therapist of the Calgary Roughnecks professional lacrosse team for seven years. During this time, she coordinated care for athletes across the country. She, along with a strength and conditioning coach, created a dynamic warm-up that resulted in the Roughnecks having the lowest injury rate of all teams – a type of warm-up that has now been adopted throughout the sport.
As part of the Canadian Sport Institute Alberta, Lisa has worked with women’s hockey, wrestling, bobsleigh and skeleton (attended a World Championship) and para-cycling. She specializes in performance enhancement through exercise and therapy, vestibular therapy, concussion rehabilitation and spine specialization.
Lisa has also worked with the University of Calgary Rowing Club and as a therapist for Team England at three World Lacrosse Championships. She was a university athlete and holds coaching designations in multiple sports.
