Exercise Physiologist
Roxy completed her Bachelor of Science, Exercise and Health Physiology at the University of Calgary. Her first exposure to the Canadian Sport Institute Alberta was when she did a practicum during her undergrad in the Exercise Physiology Lab. Since then, she has gone on to complete her Master of Kinesiology at the University of Calgary.
Roxy is responsible for performance testing and monitoring with National, NextGen, and development team athletes. Among interacting with a wide variety of sports, she is the physiologist for the Oval Program that is made of up Long Track and Short Track Speed Skating athletes. She is the current lead Exercise Physiologist for RBC Training Ground in Calgary and has had the opportunity to travel to Yellowknife and Grande Prairie to help host events for different communities.
In her down time, she can be found reading a new book, working out with friends, or baking.
