Shayne Hutchins BPE, RMT, DOMP

Lead Para Medical

Shayne completed a Bachelor of Physical Education at the University of Calgary, followed by earning diplomas in Comprehensive Orthopaedic Assessment from the Canadian Institute of Manual Therapy and the designation of Registered Massage Therapist from the Foothills College of Massage Therapy. His educational highlight was the study of Osteopathy (5-year program) at the College d’Études Osteopathiques (CEO) – Vancouver, BC.

Shayne joined the Canadian Sport Institute Alberta in 2006 as a Registered Massage Therapist. He was a member of the Integrated Support Team for Speed Skating Canada at the 2006 & 2010 Winter Olympic Games and Paramedical Lead of Cross Country Canada for the 2014 Olympic Winter Games quadrennial.

Shayne has been the Performance Therapy Lead at CSIAB since 2014, and is currently the Director of Health.

He is a native Calgarian, devoted father of two, and an avid cyclist.
