Erik Groves PhD, CSEP-CEP
Director, Research and Innovation
Erik completed his Bachelor of Science in human kinetics at the University of Ottawa, his Master of Kinesiology and his Doctorate of Philosophy at the University of Calgary.

During this time, an interest in exercise physiology, testing and training perception led him to do graduate school and to work with the Canadian Sport Institute Alberta.
Erik works alongside national sport organizations to help develop and support high performance sport research and innovation initiatives. He specializes in exercise physiology, training prescription and data sciences. In his spare time, Erik is an avid Paraglider.
