Rosie Neil  BPE, CSEP-CEP

Director, Research, Development and Strategic Programs

Rosie holds a Bachelor of Physical Education from the University of Calgary. She worked at the University of Calgary as an instructor in the Faculty of Physical Education & Kinesiology, as well as managed the exercise physiology research laboratory for 15 years.

During her time at the University, she was affiliated with high performance athletes working with Dr. David Smith. Rosie has mastered the art of collecting meaningful data and is one of the leading technical experts in exercise physiology in Canada. In her current role, she works to develop the Institute’s strategic programs.

Rosie was born in Edinburgh, Scotland and moved to Canada in 1973 to Uranium City, Saskatchewan. The mountains eventually drew her to the west. Rosie enjoys spending time outdoors mountain biking, country-skiing and hiking.
