Sport Canada provides leadership and funding to help ensure a strong Canadian sport system which enables Canadians to progress from early sport experiences to high performance excellence
A not-for-profit organization, WinSport owns and operates Canada Olympic Park in Calgary, the Bill Warren Training Centre at the Canmore Nordic Centre in Canmore Alberta, and the Beckie Scott High Performance Training Centre on Haig Glacier Alberta. WinSport funds two-thirds of the operating budget for the Olympic Oval at the University of Calgary. Money spent at WinSport facilities supports not only Canadian high-performance athletes but introduces thousands of Calgarians to mountain-based sports each year.
Independent and predominantly privately funded, the COC delivers the resources that Canada’s elite athletes need to perform at their best and give their everything every day.
The Canadian Olympic Foundation has enabled Canadians, Canadian athletes and their coaches to strive for excellence in sport since 2007. As the official charitable organization of the Canadian Olympic Committee and Team Canada, we aim to inspire every Canadian to be capable of greatness, through sport and Olympic values.

The coaching association of Canada unites stake holders and partners in its commitment to raising the skills and stature of coaches, and through its programs, the CAC empowers coaches with knowledge and skills, promotes ethics, fosters positive attitudes, builds competence, and increases the credibility and recognition of coaches.
Own the Podium is a not-for-profit organization that prioritizes and determines investment strategies for National Sport Organizations in an effort to deliver more Olympic and Paralympic medals for Canada. Own the Podium’s largest contributor of funding is the Government of Canada with additional funding provided by the Canadian Olympic Committee (COC), the Canadian Olympic Foundation, and the Canadian Paralympic Committee (CPC).

Group23 Sports Medicine is made up of a group of individuals who collectively believe in patient-centric, collaborative care. They strive not only to help their patients return to peak performance by helping them overcome injury, they also seek ways to assist them in rising to new levels.

An important and integral part of the University of Calgary’s Faculty of Kinesiology; the Oval is a speed-skating facility, a research facility for UCalgary kinesiology scholars, a training facility for varsity athletes and a public facility to serve the university community. Founded in 1910 and located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Mount Royal grew into a vibrant college in the 1930s and became a mid-sized university with a greater focus on bachelor degrees in 2009.
